Official Contest Rules
Last updated: October 30, 2026. These rules apply to every week starting on or after Monday, November 2, 2026.
These rules cover the free weekly contest on capyarena.com, run by Capy Arena ("we", "us"). They work alongside our Terms of Service. If the two disagree about the contest, these rules apply.
1. Free to enter
No purchase or payment is needed to enter or to win. Nothing you buy or hold on Capy Arena improves your chances.
2. How to take part
Connect a Solana wallet, accept the Terms in your wallet, and play ranked in any of the three games: Capy Cross, Floating Capy and Capy Run. Each game has one round per day, from 00:00 to 23:59:59 UTC, and everyone in a round plays the same course. You get three ranked attempts per game per day, and your best verified score in that game that day is the one that counts. Attempts you don't use don't carry over. Practice runs are unlimited and never count.
3. Weekly points
When a round closes, players are placed by their best verified score, and each place earns weekly points: 1st 10, 2nd 8, 3rd 6, 4th 5, 5th 4, 6th 3, 7th 2, 8th or lower 1. Players with the same score share the place and each earn its points: two players tied for 1st both earn 10, and the next player is 3rd and earns 6. While a weekly contest runs, daily rounds have no prize of their own.
4. The week
A week runs from Monday 00:00 UTC to Sunday 23:59:59 UTC. Your weekly total is the points from every round you played that week, across all three games.
5. Weekly ranking and ties
Players are ranked by weekly total. Equal totals are separated in this order:
- more daily 1st places that week;
- then more daily 2nd places;
- then whoever reached the total first, judged by when the last score counting toward it was submitted.
Players still level after all three share the places they cover and split the prizes for those places equally. Places after the last paid place carry no prize, so players tied across the last paid place share only the prizes that are left. Each share is rounded down to the smallest unit of SOL (one lamport, a billionth of a SOL), and the lamports left over from that rounding aren't paid out.
6. Prizes
Capy Arena pays the prizes, in SOL, straight to the winners' wallets. There's nothing to claim.
Each week's prize total is set before the week starts and doesn't change, however many people play. It's shown on this page and on the Arena page all week, with a rough US dollar value. SOL's price changes, so the prize is the SOL amount; the dollar figure is only a guide.
How many places are paid depends on how many players had a verified score the week before: about one in four of them, never fewer than 3 or more than 10. The first week pays 3 places.
The table below shows how the total is split. For example, if a week's total is 1 SOL and 3 places are paid, 1st wins 0.5 SOL, 2nd 0.3 SOL and 3rd 0.2 SOL. Amounts are rounded down to the smallest unit of SOL, and the tiny remainder goes to 1st.
| Places | 1st | 2nd | 3rd | 4th | 5th | 6th | 7th | 8th | 9th | 10th |

The prizes for the current week are shown here and on the Arena page while a week is running.
7. Verification
Every ranked run in all three games is replayed on our servers from the inputs recorded during the run, and only scores that pass are verified. A score that can't be verified straight away earns no points and stays off the public rankings until it has been reviewed, and while any of a player's scores in a round is under review, none of their scores in that round count yet. We may review any score or player before prizes are paid, and we don't publish how the checks work. Bots, scripts, modified game clients, letting someone else play for you, using more than one wallet, and exploiting bugs are all against the rules; see Fair play and the Terms.
8. Voided scores and bans
If a score breaks these rules we void it, and that player's scores in that round stop counting. If a player broke the rules on purpose we may also ban their wallet: a banned wallet's scores stop counting in every round, and it can't take part again. A void or ban recalculates every round and week it affects, so other players' places, points and prizes can move. Our decisions on scores, voids, bans and results are final.
9. When prizes are paid
The week closes at Monday 00:00 UTC. We then check the week's results and send the prizes to the winning wallets, typically within 48 hours. If any score that earned points that week is still under review, the whole week's payment waits until the review is finished, because one decision can change other players' totals. There's nothing to claim. We may ask a winner to confirm they're eligible, and may withhold a prize if they don't or aren't. Winners are responsible for any taxes on their prizes.
10. Who can win
To win a prize you must:
- be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live if that's higher;
- confirm that the law where you live lets you take part;
- live and play somewhere taking part is legal;
- have accepted the Terms of Service in your wallet;
- play with one wallet only, and it must be yours.
Excluded places: you can't win if you live in, play from or act for anyone in Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, or the Crimea, Donetsk or Luhansk regions of Ukraine, or if you're on any government sanctions list.
The people who run Capy Arena and the members of their households can't win prizes.
Void where prohibited.
11. Ads
The site shows ads. Ads never affect gameplay, attempts, scores, points, rankings or prizes.
12. Problems on our side
If a bug, outage or other problem on our side makes a round unfair, we may cancel that round's points for everyone and say so on the site and in our channels.
13. Changes to these rules
We change these rules only for weeks that haven't started yet. A week that has started finishes under the rules it started with. When the rules change, the date at the top changes too.
